Published books

Practical books for parents who want a calmer way forward.

These Amazon-published books extend the same core idea behind Gamers Wanted Academy: when capable young people feel stuck, the answer is not more pressure. It is a better system.

About the founder

Hi, I'm Patrick Chiasson.

Patrick Chiasson, founder of Gamers Wanted Academy
Founder, Gamers Wanted Academy

I'm the founder of Gamers Wanted Academy, a father of twin teenage gamers, and someone who spent years trying to understand one frustrating question:

Why can teenagers stay focused for hours in games... but completely disconnect from school?

Like many parents, I used to think gaming was the problem.

But after watching my boys closely, I realized something most people miss:

Gamers already develop powerful skills. Focus. Strategy. Persistence. Adaptation. Problem-solving.

The real issue is that nobody shows them how to transfer those skills into school and real life.

That realization changed everything for me.

Today, my mission is to help parents better understand the gamer mindset and help teenagers turn the same drive they use in gaming into confidence, motivation, and academic success.

Because I truly believe many teenagers are not unmotivated. They're simply motivated differently.

Why these books exist

Families do not need another lecture. They need language that finally makes sense.

The books are written for parents who are tired of repeating the same conversations and getting the same shutdown, resistance, or temporary compliance.

They offer a more useful lens: look beneath the behavior, understand the system driving it, and build a structure your family can actually repeat.
